Acrobatic Tumbling is performed solely on the floor. The springboard, trampboard, and tumble track are used as training aids. Acrobatic Tumbling begins with the most basic floor skills such as rolls, cartwheels, and handstands. As the students strength and mental/physical ability increases flight skills are introduced. These skills consist of round offs, back and front handsprings and saltos. In the higher levels the flight skills graduate into connected skills and more difficult body positions.
Tumbling is what we have to offer for our older male students. Tumbling classes are a great way to improve you agility, strength and flexibility. This class will give you a boost in all other sports you participate in.
Many of our female students are not interested in the bars, beam, and vault. Tumbling is a perfect alternative. Tumbling is an excellent prerequisite for those interested in becoming cheerleaders or for dancers who want to introduce a tumbling element into their performance routines or for martial art competitors who want to add a flare to their discipline.
